[ Humbug *General* list - semi-serious discussions about Humbug and ]
[ Unix-related topics. Please observe the list's charter. ]
Mike,
My $0.02 worth after 6 years of doing web development.
If your using an MS NT platform then seriously look at ColdFusion if your
using a UNIX/BSD/Linux/HP platform then look at PHP/MySQL - these of course
only relate to server side scripting.
The other critical item is database integration - if your on a UNIXish
platform you may have troubles if your DB is on NT. Usually the other way
round is not a problem as there are plenty of NT to UNIX ODBC drivers for
Database integration.
