[H-GEN] Debian Installation Problems

You don't mention if you are booting from floppy or CD.  In either case,
I don't ever recall seeing that file in /boot (just mounted the images I
have at work and checked.. there is one in /boot).  It's a few months
since I've done an install, so my memeory is starting to fade on that
point.  As a surefire method of solving the problem, I would suggest
writing floppies with the images on them and point the installer at
/dev/fd0 when it asks.

Alternatively, the directory that contains all the images should be
dists/frozen/main/disks-i386/current on the CD.  I can't recall where
the CD is mounted during a debian install, but you should be able to
figure it out
