Personally I dislike hypermail, mainly because previous versions had a
nasty tendency to dump core when an archive got above a certain size,
usually the size of the physical memory of the machine.

how a larger public archive works.
One of these days (yeah, right) I'll actually complete a rewrite of the
site ;)
