The ICP stuff makes sense.  I will try that later today if I get a
chance.  During my initial testing I found the response to be quite a
bit faster without the ICP query so I turned it off.  I was only ever
really using the one cache anyway (the new telstra ones) so it didn't
matter as I never go direct, always via the cache.

As far as the weight option goes, I believe I have that correct.  It is
simply a preference weighting on the parents, the higher the number, the
higher the preference for that cache.

David's suggestion is also possible to do but is a bit more complicated
since the 2 gateways and my internal squid cache are on 3 different
machines 8^)  I would need to write a few scripts and things to check
the availability of the 2 parents and reconfigure accordingly.  Come to
think of it, I could probably use netsaint events to reconfigure when a
cache goes offline/online.....
