Hi,

I have a problem with our apple printer ( kinda similar to hp jetdirect)

now... I can print fine from hosta to this printer.... ( raw queue
remote host etc...) but hostb refuses to do so...

both hosta and hostb appear to have identical printcap files and filters
etc...

when I try to print from hostb (with command lpr -P printer /some/file
), the job is queued, a deamon spawned and then the job disappearing
from the queue as if it has been printed.  the same thing happens on
hosta.

I can't figure out why it should work from hosta and not hostb....

does anyone have any ideas??
