This is a post regarding employment (not contract work) at Plugged

Plugged In Software (http://www.PIsoftware.com/) has openings for 
the following full time positions:

1.  Senior Java Programmer.

    This position requires many years of programming experience,
    preferrably as a strong individual contributor in either
    C/Unix or OO environments dealing with network, tools and/or
    database programming.

    Comfort with Unix environments and tools is a must.
    Linux/Solaris expertise highly regarded.  RDBMS experience
    or language development experience highly regarded.

    If you see yourself as taking a purely technical track and
    want to work as a strong individual contributor within a 
    project team working on interesting projects for US clients, 
    come talk to us.

2.  Programmer.

    New or recent graduates with an interest in learning or extending
    their Java/OO knowledge should apply.

    This job involves acting as a member of a technical team which
    will implement low level network protocols, RDBMS middleware
    and various software programming tools in Java.

    This is an opportunity to learn on the job, but the learning
    curve will be high and only motivated, smart people need apply.

    Unix/Linux skills highly regarded.

Availability:  Interviewing now to start April-May 2000.

Type of Work:  Plugged In is building our US customer base and develops
               both custom and commercial e-commerce software using
               Java/XML/Web/RDBMS/EJB technologies.  We perform
               outsourced development for major US software vendors
               licensed under both Open Source and proprietary
               licenses.
