I think that someone on the bigpond.broadband.tech.linux newsgroup has got 
this beast to run.  Either that, or my imagination is playing up again...

I'd advise to dip your toes into there (can only be accessed by people on 
Telstra Cable or ADSL connections), and do a bit of digging.
