Actually, I'm completely incapable of thinking in Imperial. A
cow-orker posed the question to me in inches, and I repeated it
without translating.

I went to buy a new builders' tape measure the other day...bloody
thing had inches on top and cms on bottom. I put it back on the shelf
in disgust.
As for LSD, I wasn't born then (but my father has a complete (no, not
the 1930!) collection of australian predecimal coins, so I'm somewhat
less numismatically challenged than my peers). Used to collect coins
myself, before I discovered computers (which is mainlining uncut
nerdism as opposed to the coin/stamp/bug collector's gentle toke).
