CALL FOR TALKS & PRESENTATIONS
for the Sydney Linux User Group "Installfest 2000"
Saturday, August 26th, 2000
The Sydney Linux User Group is holding an Installfest on Saturday, August
26th to promote Linux - the Free Software operating system heralded as the
Next Big Thing in the world of computers - and help new users try it for
themselves on their own computers.
In addition to installing Linux, we would like to offer talks and
presentations highlighting the benefits of Linux and Free Software,
specifically to new users, and those migrating from other operating systems.
If you would like to be involved, please register at our Installfest
website:
http://slug.org.au/installfest2000/
Be sure to choose "I would like to hold a talk or presentation" when
entering your details, and give a short summary of your talk in the comments
field.
If you have any questions, our Installfest organisers will be able to help
you. Email festies at slug.org.au, or simply reply to this email.
Please distribute this email to anyone you think would be interested.
