run a search on linuxdocs.com for NAT.  I was looking at the same thing only
a couple of days ago.
someone has developed network address translation and load balancing for
cluster situations and the is a doco on it there.
it uses cisco like syntax which is nice..
eg.

ip route nat <ext_interface> via <cluster_machine_1> 100
ip route nat <ext_interface> via <cluster_machine_2> 50

or some such thing.

you can also do this with BSD or SCO-Unixware 7 (not included in
SCO-Openserver 5.0.5)
