Hi :) the FAQ was an idea of mine dating back a year or 2. I
occassinally update it (recently infact :) and post it to announce (last
time it didn't turn up to my knowledge! :) and also to
aus.computers.linux. The webified version has been out of sync
unfortunately. Perhaps the official version should just be a link to a
page on blake (my main machine) to allow for the latest version to always
be available).

: And now, the chief problem that I've heard about the humbug site:

: 5) It doesn't have the next meeting information right up the front.

This is a biggie - we need this info right up front.

: So, what am I going to do about it?

: To answer each point above:

: 1) Stick to the HTML 4 and CSS 2 standards, and use tidy to check it
: all. Now, this does make using the site a little hard under lynx, but
: we'll work around that eventually. Lynx is just such a crappy client.
                                     ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Wearing asbestor underwear Clinton? Saying that you'll be more wanted
than Salman Rushtie :)

: 2) Completely reorganizing the site and shuffling all the data around
: so it is more logical and hopefully easier to find.

This is worth doing. I have some suggestions for some new sections too :)

: 4) Slowly marking up the <pre> elements. The constitution will take
: the longest time.

And YAV[1] is on the way

[1] Yet another version. Not having a go at anyone, but we _always_
have a new version in the works ;)

: Thanks to Elice for getting those colours out of my head and onto my
: screen :)

I bet there's a story behind that one :)
Cheers,

In Cyberspace no one can hear you scream, unless they have a sound card.
