I heard that a new CAD programme for Linux was quite good. Maybe that will have
a facility for doing circuit boards  maybe it was LinuxCAD IRRC but it is not a
freebie. Just had a quick look and it does not mention electrical drawings.

I notice on the Linux Apps Page that a programme called XelCAD will do them.
Never used it so I can't comment. but its home page is:-
