Subject: [SAGE-QLD] Assistance required in supporting a small Windows PC network

I have been asked to find someone capable of assisting with the support of a
small LAN. The exact time requirements are a little hazy at the moment as I
am not familiar with the situation and the person that has approached me
really is not sure of exactly what they require.

>From what I have been told their network is very simple - 12 Windows 95/98
PCs running applications like Office 97, Outlook (in Internet Only mode I
think) and ACT! They have a router, printer and file server. They are most
jumpy because their current support person is going on extended leave and
may not be returning. While their previous person was pretty much full time,
I expect that most support could be done after/before hours and possibly on
weekend. This could either be an opportunity for some one that is already
contracting ad hoc services already or some one that just wants some extra
pocket money.

If any one is interested finding out more please mail me and I will put you
in contact with them.

Thanks

David Sammut
