[H-GEN] Linux kernel 2.2 and RedHat 6.0 Stability

I am not using RH6.0 is a full production environment but it does serve me
as a samba server, mail server etc. I have no problems what so ever with
it falling over etc. I refuse however to use the kernel source
included in the distribution.
I use 2.2.9 and it humms along soundly.
