Some of our NT boxes here run telnetd, but a number of programs that
_seem_ to be perfectly normal command-line things (like compilers, say)
_won't run_ in a telnet session, presumably because somewhere they make
an assumption they're in a local command window. Another example is
some versions of the NT telnet client. (Imagine a unix system that
didn't let you telnet through one box to another -- they'd be laughed
out of town.)

i must say the linux community is a lot nicer than the unix
community. a negative comment on unix would warrent death
threats. with linux, it is like stirring up a nest of butterflies.
