What sort of kernel config do you have?  What hardware (eg scsi, processor
etc) are you running?  How much free space do you have on your partitions?

I'm running 2.2.10 on three machines (two servers, one workstation) without
these problems (yet - fingers crossed) I'd like to know if there's a
difference between our hardware.
