Office is nearly universal in private offices of people I do business with,
although there is still the old WP5 / Wordstar / FirstChoice lurking around
on dinosaur 286's ... I have been looking at trying a few places with
Mandrake 5.3 / StarOffice though as the interface is reasonably intuitive
and at least StarOffice saves documents in the commonly accepted formats ...
and maybe some of those 486's will get another lease of life that they
wouldn't with Win98 / Win2000 / Office 2000
