Well Mr.Netscape assures me its set at the default 72 characters 
can't see any other way to control it unless you know some way 
thats not in the "Preferences" directory

Well for the less experienced, its nice to be able to get the thing to
actually work .... rather than tearing ones hair out wondering why it
doesn't. Now if there was some good intelligible documentation ....... 
but thats another issue :) :) :)
