It is that "hocus pocus, voodoo and other assorted witchcraft" that
occassionaly gets in the way when one wants to only touch the surface
that is *absolutely essential* when one wants to remake the world :-)
Unix doesn't make the easy things trivial - it makes everything only
moderately complicated. Compare this with NT, where it's either
trivial or impossible...
These are sweeping generalisations; however, they embody part of the
underlying philosophies of the *different* groups of Operating Systems.
