Yep - a good reference! Here's another one:

    The SIG11 Problem: http://www.bitwizard.nl/sig11/

After fixing up the Cyrix-specific suggestions (including a really good
one that allows the chip to respond to the Linux kernels HALT
instruction when not used, thereby reducing it's power consumed from 24
W to 250 mW!!), I finally tracked the problem to RAM (again).

It seems that I had inadvertently mixed 70ns and 60ns SIMMs :(

I now have 2 16MB, 70ns, 32-pin EDO SIMMs for trade for the same thing
in 60ns :) Anyone interested?

Cheers,
Dave
