Well - I can speak for the USR Sportster.  I bought a v.90 Sportster
(flash), and though I haven't tested v.90 yet, I get rock solid x2 connects
at 46666bps (which I believe is a UQ imposed limit).  I have been using this
modem for almost six months, and have yet to be disconnected for any reason
other than a lack of quota.
