[H-GEN] advertising

[The Fuzzy One]

There are basically three clubs who can be relyed on for some kind of
social life while doing a CS degree.  There's the traditional beer
drinking club, BITS, which has actually turned quite professional of late.
There's the new kid on the block, NGA.  Finally there's HUMBUG.  I belive
that all three clubs have something to offer both CS students, and the
wider community.

Perhaps it would be appropriate to combine our forces.

A few ideas follow:

Discount membership rates when joining more than one club.

Joint leaflets advertising all three clubs, along with more traditional
leaflets devoted to just one club in O-Week.

Joint events.

That kind of thing... low key to start with, but I don't think that the
icy silence that each club seems to regard the others with is totally
responsible.  We already have quite a large shared membership.

I thought Clinton's message was worth forwarding to a wider audience.
