[H-GEN] two problems

Hello!


I have had two problems with installation last night.  BTW. I am running RH5.0.

1.  I tried to install the xdm3d_xpm_1.0-0 rpm for givign 3d effects to my
xdm startup screen.  When I tried installing the rpm the following errors
occured:
        /usr/X11R6/bin/xdm conflicts with file from XFree86-3.3.1-14
        /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm conflicts with file from XFree86-3.3.1-14
        error: xdm3d_xpm_1.0-0 can't be installed.

2.  I tried installing Xemacs from the RH4.2 distribution CD's.  I used
'configure' first, which seemed to work, but when i then went to 'make' the
installation the following occured:
        make[1]: entering directory /temp/xemacs-19.13/lib-src
        Makefile:26: ***missing separator. Stop.
        make[1]: leaving directory /temp/xemacs-19.13/lib-src
        make: *** [lib-src] Error 2

would anyone be able to offer me some suggestions and help?
