[H-GEN] Linux office stuff

I've just downloaded an evaluation version of the NExS spreadsheet
(www.xess.com) for Linux. It's very cool (as Motif spreadsheets go),
and at USD $49 I think I might go for it. Reboots are for kernel
upgrades and all that.
I see the American Bookstore in the city has a shelf devoted to
pretty new RH and Applix boxes. Cool.
Elec-eng type geeks might like to check out the ballot on free-Unix
VLSI design tools currently linked to by slashdot.org. Guess what type
of OS most engineers would rather work on? There's a particularly
nice post from a guy who's used to running forty windows on his Sparc,
with some of them using 2GB (!) of memory. NT didn't cope very well. ;)
