And another:

http://www.debian.org/security/

If you make sure you point dselect at the AARnet mirror (with the http,
ftp or apt methods, and the appropriate distribution) and remember to
[U]pdate and [I]nstall every now and then [0] you should be kept fairly
up to date with security fixes.

RedHat and Debian tend to share fixes (I haven't seen any helpful advice
from or for other distributions on the lists, it may well be there,
though), and both groups monitor the various security lists, fwiw.

And, again fwiw, azure has had a number of `scans' recently too. The
only one I bothered investigating looked like it was a cracked system
being used to hide the cracker's trail or something.

Cheers,
aj

[0] or:
	# apt-get -y update; apt-get -y dist-upgrade
if you've got apt installed. There's a version for bo (Debian 1.3.1)
in /pub/debian/bo-updates, I believe. Don't quote me though.

I don't speak for anyone save myself. PGP encrypted mail preferred.
