As my computer knowledge has a bent towards the unix side of the force,
I would go for the boot floppy option.  Boot floppy, which expands into a
ram disk.  Only needed for the occassional reboot (rare unless the boxen
were powered down over the weekend perhaps).

I don't know enough about Novell to comment :(
