Brisbane Internet Technology has a system administrator's position vacant in
their Technical Services Department.

The Technical Services Department is a team-oriented group, responsible for
maintaining the ISP operations of the company, as well as providing
technical support for it's ISP customers. Additional external consulting is
also done for customers when required.

The successful applicant will have:

Strong Unix (SVR4-based) system administration skills (at least 2 years)
with a preference to Linux
FreeBSD/NetBSD experience would be a plus.
Be familiar with the operation and administration of Windows NT Server 4.0
Have a good working knowledge of TCP/IP (IP routing, subnetting etc)
Have a good working understanding of the DNS
Have good written communication skills
Preferrably have an understanding of RADIUS
BGP4 experience looked upon extremely favorably
A current driver's licence

Experience with configuration, operation and management of the following:
· Squid 2.x
· INN 2.x
· BIND 8
· Sendmail 8.9.x
· Apache 1.3.x
· IIS 4.0
· Cisco and/or Bay Networks routers

Second level support skills with:
· Windows 95/98 Dialup-Networking issues
· Apple Macintosh Dialup issues (desirable but not essential)
· Windows NT Dialup-Networking/RAS issues (desirable)
