?   A bit of clarification, please. Do you mean must exist on eiter ID 0 or
1, or that it must exist on both of the two drives that I have installed?

BTW, I've found that if I disconnet the Win drive, then LILO works fine on
the one remaining drive.  I assume that this is what you mean?  I must have
LILO installed on the Win disk as well?
