First of all, make sure that that is the file's name, and then delete it
using the standard option are finished switch, double hyphen.
$ /bin/ls -l | /bin/cat -e
total 0$
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Aug 23 18:47 -$
$ /bin/rm -- -
$ /bin/ls -l | /bin/cat -e
total 0$
