lets see

o TV guides delivered are stored into files based on the date using a
backtick expression
o Accounting information is piped into a perl script to produce daily
piecharts
o TCL script that sends mail, including fork()ing and timeouts
o rodnet alias to rodent because many people don't know which to call
me anymore (me included :)
o And the worst, I had trouble finding how to stop pine saving mail
into sent-mail (it was either an early version or I was younger and
even more stupid :) and so I linked sent-mail to /dev/null.  Err.
Which the sysadmins didn't like

there are probably others, but I can't think of them right now :)
