a) Keep clear of them.
b) Replace or upgrade the banksia modems attached to them.

The webramps are a yuppie black box connection kit.  Some information can
be obtained from Banksia, but don't count on it being informative.  It is
configured via a web browser and allegedly does PAP... also allegedly does
PPP with a connection script...

Once you've upgraded the modem's firmware, and walked through the web
pages configuring the dialup number, name and password, they do work,
however they are a bugger to diagnose whats wrong with their single status
light. 

And if you point them in my direction for wanting a 'net connection, I
will deny all knowledge thereof ;)
