Hi everybody - I was wondering why, when I telnet in to debian from a NT
or 95 machine, that vi doesn't work properly. When you hit dd to delete a
line, vi decides to roar off and delete the first line in the file!! the
telnet session is set to VT100 emulation and the login that i'm using has
TERM=vt100 on login.

Why is vi giving me this aggro? (several files became a good deal shorter
as a result of this action... doh. oh well they were only html)
