Very amusing.

It's worth noting that sometime after 02-1996 (v4.2?) RedHat ship a
tmpwatch command instead of using find and rm.  It probably fixes some
of the problems, but I bet it still has a few bugs, and could do with
a source review.

The post kind of implies criticism of RedHat for shipping something
like this, and they deserve censure.  However, I bet there's a lot of
other sysadmins who've taken the find/rm command straight out of a
book and installed it themselves.  There's no excuse for not keeping
up to date, of course, but nevertheless lots of people don't.  If they
use RedHat (or Debian, or some distro that pays attention to these
things), then it will at least be fixed in the next release.
