[H-GEN] Mail problems.......*almost* solved

Seems I was a bit premature, however I am getting more useful information
now.

OK, it now seems I can SEND mail quite happily, but not recieve it, whcih
is the opposite of what I got before.
Again, small messages are fine, big ones fail.

I ended up doing this test...

1. Send a largish mail message (500k) to myself. (forwarded via sendmail on
my Linux box to the mailbox on my ISP)
2. Start "tail -f /var/log/messages"
3. Connect to the POP3 server on my ISP using telnet (in another terminal
window) and log in
4. Issue RETR 1 (i.e. the 500k message)
5. Start to recieve the message. After about the 5th line or so of the
attachment, it hangs and at that exact time I get this error message in the
log......Sep 24 00:04:37 linux kernel: MASQ: failed TCP/UDP checksum from
203.20.132.2!

Seems to me this has gotta be related. I suspect it may still be due to
modem problems. I might try connecting at a lower rate (tomorrow night)
and see if that helps

Ohhh... more stuff in the log. I have NO idea what this means, but looks
related
