Well there are stacks of programmes that can do what she wanted eg I am
sure Corel can do it...I think MS Paint might be a derivative of
Photopaint anyway, then there is Paintshop Pro etc., LView is
downloadable from ftp/uq. However, Photoshop could handle it.

I never hear the mention of The Gimp here and it seems fantastic from
what I have seen. A feature series in Linux Journal too.
