Hi George,

RPM is the Red Hat Package Manager.  You install an .rpm file by
typing "rpm -i foo.rpm", but this presumes that you have RPM itself
already installed.  If you are running Red Hat Linux it will be there,
otherwise you will probably need to install it first.
