Sorry David this is not really a reply to your post.  I'm piggy-
backing my request here cos its sorta related.

I am also looking to upgrade Daffy's CPU.  The max I can go to is
a 486 DX2-66.  I might be able to get one of these animals, but the
current owner is unsure of its value, ans so am I.

So what is a reasonable price for a 2nd hand 486 DX2-66 (5volt) ???
