[H-GEN] Multi Network Cards...

I'm having problems getting redhat 4.2 to see 2 network cards.
When it detects the first card at boot, the message "eth0 blah blah"
appears. The next message i get is "eth1, module not found". 
I've added the io & irq to lilo, so it knows where they both are, and
created appropriate files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts, and now 
i'm lost.
Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong or where I can find what i need
to know?  The howto's seem to suggest that what i've done should work.

They're both NE2000 compatibles, if that makes a difference.
