Have a read of the page.  Personally I think the judge didn't want to
set a precedence case of breaking spammer's contracts.. hence the ruling
in favour of Cyberpromo.

for those of you who are interested in the legal proceedings a

i'm posting this because despite reading between the lines about the
judges views on spam, she ordered cyberpromo to be reconnected on the
basis of the contract they had with AGIS.  though AGIS can boot cyberpromo
off come 16th oct, before if cyberpromo manage to find another provider. 

so to all you ISPs out there - be warned. make sure your contracts cover
you against rogue customers. 

i suspect cyberpromo will be connected to another ISP shortly by offering
large amounts of cash to a clueless sales rep. 8-(

i'll shut up about spam now & return you to your regular musings.
