[H-GEN] Tape backup - Your recommendations

Hi Humbuggers,

I could very soon be in the market for a tape backup unit. I want it
to have a capacity of [at least] 2GB per tape.  4GB would be nice.

Internal units would be OK, but so would the kind that attach via 
the parallel port if they are quick enuf.  I hear there are units
that attach via the floppy disc controller.

I want to be certain that it is supported by Linux (2.0.xx).  

Recommendations???

As an alternative, what is the street price of those Jaz drives?
