FWIW, there was a little blurb about the PalmPilot Professional in _The
Courier-Mail_ yesterday, in the ``Headstart'' Section. The article was
written by Rodney Chester, and accompanied by a nice big photo of someone
using one.

Some quotes from the article follow below. (And I've watched _Media
Watch_ too. I make no assertions whether these statements are even close
to being correct. :-)

``To use the PalmPilot you scribble on the 160x160 pixel screen with a
pen-like device using a short-cut writing style called Graffiti.
``The beauty of the device is in its integration with your laptop or
desktop. The Professional comes with a HotSync cradle.
``Once the software is installed on your desktop, to synchronise your
files on the desktop with your handheld, you pop the Pilot in the cradle
and hit the on button --- it's that simple.''

``And while we were in the download mood, we found a heap of shareware
programs on the Net to save and install --- such as currency converters,
world clocks and games.''

``As the PalmPilot Professional is likely to appeal to the serious
tech-head, those gung-ho types are likely to be attracted to a programmer
tool called CodeWarrier.
``Be warned --- CodeWarrior is not a program for the casual computer
user. It is a powerful programming tool and would be intimidating to
anyone not used to programming. However, once mastered, the software
allows the PalmPilot owners to create applications for the PalmPilot that
are suited to their needs.''

``The CodeWarrior and PalmPilot are available at a special Christmas price
of $999.''
