Yes, there is a fair bit of stuff out there for deveoping apps for the
Pilot.  The ones I know about are CodeWarrior (you have to buy a seperate
version IIRC), and I believe there are free GNU tools for Pilot
application development as well as Pilot "virtual machines" that can be
used under X to test out apps before downloading them to the Pilot.

The best place to start in finding out more about Pilot programming would
be the Pilot developer support pages at http://www.3com.com.
