This is nothing to be offended about. You are awre that unix is not
legacy in any way. It works and is progressing. It is flagrant (but
cleverly targeted) propaganda to say that anything but MS windoze is out
of usefulnes. This may help push some non-confident persons (especially
non-informed management types) that it is time to make the switch and
get up to date.

A frightening thaught.
These similar thinking decision makers who could be swayed by such a
statement (unfounded, may I add), had much to do with the big blue IBM
PC making such a huge impact on the future (now) back then. We still
have this old bottleneck architecture choking lots of things. My
compliments to those who got it to do what it now does.

The PC (IBM type) is definitely a legacy device. Many machines around
that time have disappeared even though they were superior.

May the gods be with our decission makers and may they not be afraid to
as the appropriate Nerd who Nows what is the best direction rather than
following just a name again.
