Hi Humbuggers,

When I bought my xterm from the toxic waste dump I also "took
possession"
of a 3Com "3Station/2E" made [in Aus] by Bull. It is a diskless PC
"workstation" with a 386 CPU.

It boots into its monitor program OK, and passes all diagnostics, but
can't boot fully until it finds a server. Trouble is, I have no idea
of what kind of server it is expecting.

I will bring it along to the next HUMBUG meeting, and maybe someone
there will know a little about it. In the meantime if anyone knows
anything about this beast will they please email me.

As an exercise in futility I would love to get it working so I can
run loadlin->Linux on it. It currently has only 1Mb of RAM, but it
can take four 30pin SIMMs. I can borrow memory [from Tweety] to test
it, but I will need more if I get it working. Anyone with 4Mbx30pim
RAM [at the right price] would be a popular person at meetings.

Gaz
