Hello,

I have recently subscribed to the HUMBUG-ANNOUNCE list. I would like to
place a  job ad for a Linux/FreeBSD type person. The ad is below, if this

Full Time System Administrator (Brisbane)
=========================================

The roll is with a progressive QLD company based in Brisbane City. It
will be to  help look after over 30 servers in the field around Australia
at remote  locations. People who may have spent time on a tech support
desk or had a  customer facing role are well regarded but this is not
essential.

The position will be reasonably junior in the company but we are
currently  doubling staff every 12 months and as such there is a future
for advancement  overtime.

-- Highly Regarded Skills --
============================

o  Experience in Linux - any flavour

o  Ethernet Networking

o  Dial Networking on *nix

o  IP configuration on *nix (knowing the difference between IP and TCP/IP

   useful)

o  PC Hardware experience, somebody who is able to a build PC or replace
parts in
   a PC

o  Somebody who can work with little supervision and is trustworthy

o  ISP Experience (not mandatory)

o  One or more of PHP, perl, bash scripting (have actually used one or
more of
   these to do something useful opposed to knowing what they stand for)

o  Apache, DNS, Sendmail

o  FreeBSD

o  Clue

o  Previous customer support roles

o  Know how to google a problem instead of asking for help from others
