Subject: QSCL seminar re Open Source Licensing

The Queensland Society for Computers and The Law is holding a lunchtime
seminar on Wednesday concerning Open Source Licensing. I am a former member
of Humbug, and given the relevance of this topic to Linux, BSD etc, I
wondered if you might want to pass this on to your members via your mailing

The focus of the QSCL seminars tends to be on the legal issues, rather the
technical side of things, but anyone developing Open Source software should
be aware of the legal ramifications of using particular licences. Note that
there is a small fee for attendance.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you,

Thomas Hoad
