Want to Know About Linux?
-------------------------
Installfest 2000 will be an opportunity to be introduced to Linux with a
safety net. You will have the opportunity to:
* attend introductory talks that will teach you about what Linux is,
where it came from, and what all the fuss is about.
* get help installing Linux on your computer (please register see our
website at http://installfest.humbug.org.au/).
* talk to dedicated Linux enthusiasts
Want to Help Out?
-----------------
If you've already experienced the joys of Linux please come along and help
out. How can you help out:
* Pass this message on to interested people you know.
* Come along and help as an Installer. All you need is a familiarity with
the RedHat install process.
* Come along and give a talk. We are still looking for people to talk
on topics of interest to knew users not only about Linux, but about
Open Source and Free Software also.
* Come along and be a dogs-body. Even if you are not comfortable giving
a talk, we still need people to help out on the day giving directions,
etc.
Linux is the flag bearer of the Open Source community to the general public.
Please take this opportunity to give something back by making Installfest 2000
a success.
