Earlier today, while looking for resources dedicated to distance learning, I noticed you were linking to the Academic Earth website from http://www.humbug.org.au/Resources
Question for you - we recently created two free online-learning focused features (more information below):
1. E-Learning Best Practices and Online College Success: http://www.affordablecollegesonline.org/online-colleges-guide/
2. Online College Classes: Introductory (101) courses: http://www.affordablecollegesonline.org/college-classes-online/
Both would be a great addition to your page above, or to any page on your website with distance learning information and resources. Do you think you could add these two comprehensive resources?
Many organizations are now using our resource guide, including Oregon State University, Colorado State University, University of Hawaii, various libraries and government websites. Example:
http://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/about/welcome/online-learning.htm (see Online Learning Resources)
Would you mind adding these to your resource page above (or similar page) as educational link resources?
Thank you,
Dan Schuessler

More information on these features:
E-learning Guidebook:
The goal of the e-learning guidebook is to help students learn online more effectively. This includes 20 pages dedicated to distance learning basics, critical how-tos, and many of the misconceptions that surround the virtual classroom. And to make sure students have the right information from the right people, we interviewed experts at The Sloan Consortium, The Open University, and more than a dozen other distinguished institutions. Anyone interested in distance learning can access, download, and print our free guide at the following location:
Introductory Online Course Search:
This tool allows students or lifelong learners to search free introductory (or 101) classes at top U.S. universities. Most students aren't ready to jump into an advanced class, so we hand-picked 400 classes that can be taken by people with limited background on a specific subject or topic.
