RE: CHANGES TO POST OFFICE BOX DELIVERY OF STREET ADDRESSED MAIL

Australia Post is changing the way we manage the delivery of street
addressed mail to post office (PO Box) customers. As a PO Box customer
it is important that you are aware of the changes and how they may
affect you.

Currently mail address to a PO Box holder's street address is often
diverted to their PO Box. However this process cannot be consistently
applied in an era of automated sorting, and can cause confusion for
customers.

To address this discrepancy, from 12 October 2009 all mail for PO Box
holders addressed to a street address will be delivered to that street
address unless there is an active mail redirection in place that
authorises Australia Post to divert the mail.

To assist with the transition to this new process, we offer the
following service:
 * You can obtain a supply of complimentary postage-paid cards to
update your contacts with your PO Box address. Ask at your local post
office to arrange for these cards to be sent to you or call our
Customer Contact Centre on 1300 330 206.

Please note that after 12 October 2009 your mail will be delivered
exactly as it is addressed unless you have a redirection in place. If
you do not have a letterbox at your street address, Australia Post
will have no choice but to return it to the sender as we will not have
authorisation to divert it to your PO Box.
