csig -- Clustering SIG list

About csig
English (USA)

Welcome to the CSIG mailing list.

CSIG is the Cluster Special Interest Group within HUMBUG. CSIG and its
mailing list are purely interested in clustering Unix computers, setting
up clusters, programming clusters, and using clusters. Also on topic is
any administrivia needed for the running of CSIG. SMP is just barely on
topic.

CSIG meets during the normal HUMBUG meetings at the rear corner of the
room. That set of tables is reserved for the cluster itself, and it's
front end. Any HUMBUG member is welcome to come and annoy us with
cluster talk and you do not need to do anything special to be a part of
it all. CSIG reserves the right to allocate time on the cluster if the
need arises.

The current co-ordinator of CSIG and it's mailing list is David Seikel,
if you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to email him
@ won_fang@yahoo.com.au, or just drop a note in here.

Basic netiquette is expected of participants of this list. This

(particularly 'ME TOO'), posting a private message *not* to the list
(watch the Reply-To header), avoiding having lines of more than 80
characters (72 is better), refraining from HTML posts if only text is
involved, triming your quotes, and not top posting.

FIDO net rules apply - do not be excessively annoying and do not be
easily annoyed.
